Satellite imagery to predict income level

The AI from Aman Tiwari, a computer scientist at Carnegie Mellon University, associates visual patterns in the urban landscape with a correlated income level.
This information might be only valuable if the satellite photos are current.
But the approach is vague because rich persons with high income and a simple estate exist.
And what about the definition of rich? Is someone rich, wo is living without neighbors in nature or someone living in luxury district of a city?

I think movement patterns are more meaningful than homes.
