The 4 stages of ultra running of Michael Arnstein:
  1. physical
  2. mental
  3. emotional
  4. spiritual

What do you need to come through all stages: 
  • Nutrition
  • Regular training and built-up: Exercise as part of your lifestyle. Make it to a routine.
  • Get as tall as possible. Hips forward.
  • Patience
  • Sleep and recovery
  • Equipment and cloths
    • Lightweight shoes
    • Socks
    • Sunglasses
    • GPS watch
    • Hat
    • Bags
    • Drinks and Nutrition

Marathoner advise:

Ultra runner advise:
  • Don't seek for a purpose for running. 
  • At start begin with 10km pace.
  • Eat as much as you can.
  • Thank the volunteers.
  • Cry a lot and have existential crisis.
  • Smile big at finish line as if the whole run was fine.
