Runners vs. Horses

The welsh Man versus Horse Marathon is an annual race over 22 miles (35 km), where runners compete against riders on horseback.


The event started in 1980. If I look up the race tables the winning runners and horses are getting slower over the years in mean. Climate Change?

Humans won 2x (2004 and 2007). Both on hot days.
