Companies offer free services and apps. We just need to use them and transfer in exchange our usage data and knowledge. Why is this user data valuable to companies? To influence humans regarding their purchase decisions? For advertising? For politics? For better forecasts?
That is only first step to satisfy investors.
The second is to understand human beings in all facets. AI can only operate without attracting attention if it acts invisible in the human society.
