Champ vs amateur running tips

Eliud Kipchoge stated "I want to run a world record in Berlin.". Okay I want that too, but I haven't won a free entry to Berlin marathon this time.

Some running tips from him vs me in comparison:

KipchogeRunnibal
Start keeping a training diaryRecord activities and analyze them afterwards. How did you feel?
Never stop running for funIf you have a "Why", you can bear every "How".
Surround yourself with good training partnersSurround yourself with those who bring out the best instead of stress in you.
Don’t always run at the same paceUse a training plan that contains different workouts. Don't just run. There are other valuable exercises that supports running.
Hit the hillsRunning up the hills is good, but slow down if you run down the hill.
Double up your sessionsRegeneration time depends on age. More is not always the best option. Listen to your body. Consider a professional runner wants to be the best runner for three years only. I want to be able to all my life.
Keep your feet on the groundBe a little bit crazy
Ugali is the ultimate energy sourceDon't trust foreign nutrition
Use your watch to stay on trackTrack not only workouts, track your day (24/7) by a wearable
Don’t burn the midnight oilAvoid overtraining

To summarize this in a method: Train SMART
SpecificDefine specific objectives.
MeasurableConcretize criteria for measuring progress toward the attainment of the objectives
AttractiveReward yourself, celebrate success, make it public
RealisticObjectives can be reached under given circumstances
TimelyAchieve best form when it is needed.
