Spekulatius

In der Weihnachtsbäckerei...

 

macht so mancher Knilch, eine riesengroße Kleckerei, in der Weihnachtsbäckerei.

 

Today I baked my first Spekulatius. A special kind of cookies in the christmas time, crispy and spicy.

 

Ingredients:

wheat flour, sugar, salt, 1 egg, butter, food starch, cinnamon, nutmeg,coriander, almonds

 

Make the batter the day before and keep it cool in a refridgerator.

Decorate with almonds.

 

Hmmm, very delicious.
